Spicy Malay
As these are complete sauces and have been slow cooked overnight they can be used as a simmer sauce to cook your meats or vegetables, added into you favorite stir fry dish or simply add straight from the jar onto your meal for added flavour.
For Example
Prepare 375 g of your favorite vegetables, meat or fish
Empty the jar of sauce into a sauce pan and bring to the boil adding water if necessary to keep a gravy consistancy.
Simmer till ingredients are cooked , garnish with corriander leaf and serve with rice and your favorite condiments

Chef’s tips: When using as a simmer sauce, seal your meats or vegetables (eggplants, pumpkin, potatoes) by sauting in hot oil before adding to the sauce
Yellow Gravy
This base sauce can be used to add texture and a subtle favour to your dishes.
For example
heat 1/2 teaspoon of Panch Porhan ( see spices page), or your favorite whole spice in a little oil till the seeds start to pop.
Add in 400g of vegetables, meat and fry for 1 min
Add in jar of Yellow gravy and heat through.
Add approx 300ml coconut milk ( ayam premium for best results)
Simmer till ingredients are cooked to your liking.
Garnish with chopped corriander leaf or you favorite herbs and serve with rice and condiments.
